Microphone Setup

How to check your microphone is working and grant browser permissions.

Granting Permission

When you start your first session, your browser will ask to access your microphone. Click Allow.

If you accidentally clicked Block, you can change this:

•Chrome — click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Microphone → Allow.

•Firefox — click the lock icon → Connection secure → More information → Permissions → Use the Microphone → Allow.

•Safari — Safari menu → Settings → Websites → Microphone → set to Allow.

•Edge — click the lock icon → Site permissions → Microphone → Allow.

If the AI does not seem to hear you:

1.Check that the correct microphone is selected in your browser/system settings.

2.Try speaking louder — some laptop mics need a stronger signal.

3.Close other apps that might be using the microphone (video calls, voice recorders).

4.Restart your browser and try again.
