Quick Start Guide
Get up and running in under five minutes — sign up, take an assessment, and complete your first lesson.
Step 1 — Create Your Account
Sign up with your email address. No credit card required — you get 20 free minutes to try SpeakNow.
Step 2 — Choose a Track
Click your track in the sidebar — each track has its own dedicated page:
•General English — everyday conversation for beginners (Starter → Elementary).
•CEFR Speaking — structured progression from A1 to C2 following the Common European Framework.
•IELTS Speaking — exam-focused practice for IELTS Parts 1, 2, and 3.
•Business English — professional workplace communication (Foundation → Executive).
•Public Speaking — speech rehearsal with a real-time AI audience (no assessment needed).
Step 3 — Take the Assessment
On your chosen track page, an "Assess Your Level" card will guide you through a short speaking assessment (5–12 minutes depending on the track). The AI listens and places you at the right level, then your personalised lesson list appears immediately below.
Public Speaking skips this step — just choose a speech type and scenario and start.
Step 4 — Start Your First Lesson
Scroll down the track page to your lesson list and click Start on the first unlocked lesson. Each lesson is a short, guided conversation around a real-life scenario — ordering coffee, a job interview, a workplace presentation, and more.
Step 5 — Review Your Feedback
After each session the feedback panel shows your dimension scores, your strengths, a main focus area for improvement, and a motivational note from the AI.
