General English Assessment

Overview

The General English assessment is designed for learners who are new to English or want a relaxed starting point. It takes about 5 minutes and places you at Starter, Beginner, or Elementary level.

How to Start

Go to General English in the sidebar. If you have not yet taken the assessment, you will see an "Assess Your Level" card at the top of the page. Click Start Assessment to begin.

Structure

1.Quick warm-up chat — easy, friendly questions.

2.Fun speaking activities — short activities to see how you handle different situations.

3.Free talk — a short open conversation, then your results.

Result

Your General English level (Starter, Beginner, or Elementary) plus seven dimension scores (Range, Accuracy, Grammar, Fluency, Interaction, Coherence, Pronunciation). This unlocks GE lessons at your assessed level.

You can retake the assessment at any time — just click Retake Assessment on the General English page.
