Business English Assessment

Overview

The Business English assessment is designed for working adults who need English in professional contexts. It places you at Foundation, Professional, Upper Professional, or Executive level.

How to Start

Go to Business English in the sidebar. If you have not yet taken the assessment, you will see an "Assess Your Level" card at the top of the page. Click Start Assessment to begin.

Structure

•Phase 1 — Warm-up (~1 min) — introduce yourself and your role.

•Phase 2 — Core tasks (~5 min) — workplace scenarios including presenting ideas, problem-solving, handling objections, professional discussion, and a register-switching task where you shift from informal to formal speech.

•Phase 3 — Wrap-up (~1 min) — the AI concludes and prepares your results.

Result

Your Business English level (Foundation, Professional, Upper Professional, or Executive) plus dimension scores including RegisterFlexibility — how well you shifted between informal and formal speech. Your result unlocks Business English lessons at your assessed level.
